The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has signed an air transport services agreement with the government of Nepal during a ceremony in Kathmandu on Monday. The accord is designed to create a structured and secure framework for air operations between the two nations, aligned with modern bilateral regulatory standards.
Ali Rajab, GACA's Executive Vice President for Air Transport and International Cooperation, signed the document on behalf of Saudi Arabia. Nepal was represented by Jaya Narayan Acharya, the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
As part of his official visit to Kathmandu, Rajab also held bilateral talks with Nepal's Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel. The discussions between the two officials focused on strengthening mutual cooperation in the fields of civil aviation and tourism.
