Saudi shipping company Bahri has announced that two Filipino seafarers lost their lives in a security incident involving its vessel, SIDR, on the night of Monday, August 31. According to the company, the event took place at approximately 11:40 p.m. local time as the ship, which is registered under IMO No. 9854715, was transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss, Bahri extended its condolences to the families, loved ones, and colleagues of the deceased crew members. The company stated that it is providing full support to those impacted by the tragedy.
