On Sunday, a new cohort of Omani citizens officially joined the Royal Oman Police (ROP). This latest group of recruits consists of individuals holding the General Education Diploma (GED) who successfully cleared the evaluation and acceptance phases. The recruitment process was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.
To prepare them for their future security responsibilities, the new recruits will undergo comprehensive training programmes. These sessions will be hosted at specialised institutes within the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences. The training will follow the latest approved curricula designed to equip the new personnel with the essential skills and knowledge required to perform their security duties effectively.
