During an official visit to Belgrade, Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed Al-Khereiji, met with Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Djuric. Al-Khereiji attended the meeting on behalf of Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The two officials discussed current bilateral relations, exploring strategies to expand and enhance cooperation between their nations. They also exchanged views on several matters of mutual concern. Following these discussions, Al-Khereiji and Djuric signed a bilateral agreement exempting holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports from short-stay visa requirements.
This new visa exemption agreement is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the strong bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Serbia. It aims to streamline diplomatic movement, improve mutual coordination, and foster deeper collaboration across multiple sectors.
