Islamic Military Coalition, Türkiye discuss enhancing counter-terrorism cooperation

Major General Mohammed Al-Moghedi, Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), welcomed the Turkish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Emrullah Isler, to the coalition's headquarters in Riyadh on Monday. Their discussions centered on deepening cooperation and coordinating joint initiatives to counter terrorism and extremist ideologies. During the visit, Al-Moghedi outlined the coalition's ongoing projects across its four main pillars: ideology, communication, cutting off terrorist funding, and military operations. Both officials stressed the necessity of building robust international alliances to combat violent groups and dismantle their ideological and financial support systems. Additionally, they praised the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement as a critical mechanism for advancing regional stability and defense cooperation. To conclude the visit, Ambassador Isler toured the facility, receiving detailed briefings on how the IMCTC designs and executes its programs across member nations.
