DUBAI, 7th September, 2026 (GulfPulse News) — His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, delivered a keynote address today at the opening of the 15th edition of the AIM Congress, emphasizing that the United Arab Emirates prioritizes human capital to achieve sustainable prosperity.

Hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the three-day congress is a leading international investment platform. The opening was attended by several high-ranking figures, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah’s Public Services Department, and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, along with international dignitaries and global investors.

During his speech, Sheikh Saud underscored that the UAE's developmental approach, guided by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, remains anchored on the belief that citizens are a nation's true wealth, a core principle established by the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

"The most resilient economies will be those that adapt to change, embrace innovation, invest in people and build prosperity that endures," Sheikh Saud stated. He remarked that while financial capital supports expansion, human capital forms the basis for long-term progress. He explained that Ras Al Khaimah's growth is driven by this very philosophy.

Sheikh Saud highlighted Ras Al Khaimah's commitment to building a diversified, resilient, and innovative economy. He pointed out that modern investors look for more than just financial incentives. Instead, they seek out stability, transparency, reliable institutions, and dependable partners—qualities that both Ras Al Khaimah and the wider UAE have actively cultivated.

He further observed that the true measure of investment and economic growth lies in their capacity to enhance human lives, create opportunities, and strengthen communities.

On the sidelines of the event, Sheikh Saud met with Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, India, and Dr. Deepak Mittal, India's Ambassador to the UAE, to discuss boosting bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and strategic partnership opportunities.

Sheikh Saud also visited the exhibition accompanying the congress, stopping by the Ras Al Khaimah pavilion. The pavilion showcases prominent entities from the emirate, including the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RAKBANK, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones (RAKEZ), RAK Properties, Innovation City, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, and Marjan.
