UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier met at Villa Borsig in Berlin to explore avenues for advancing the long-standing relations and strategic partnership between their two nations. According to WAM, the leaders discussed enhancing cooperation to serve their mutual interests, while also reviewing various regional and global events, including initiatives aimed at establishing lasting peace and security in the Middle East.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that the cooperative ties between the UAE and Germany have flourished for over half a century, tracing back to before the UAE was founded. He expressed appreciation for President Steinmeier's efforts in fostering these relations, noting the valuable contributions of German businesses to economic ties and the German community's role in connecting the two societies. The meeting was also attended by senior officials from both nations, including UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
