The UAE insurance sector expanded across key indicators in 2025, to the Central Bank of the UAE’s annual statistical report. Total sector assets rose to AED164.9 billion from AED155.5 billion a year earlier, an increase of 6.1%.

Gross written premiums climbed 14.9% to AED74.8 billion from AED65.1 billion in 2024. Paid claims increased 11% to AED46.2 billion, while the Central Bank report also showed continued growth in technical provisions and invested assets.
